Oscillations are described by periodic functions, often sinusoidal, but not always. Oscillations can be linear or nonlinear. They can be vibrations in time or ripples in spacetime. However, when the mind is impacted by even the slightest perturbing thought, even subconsciously, then what happens next can be described as an Oscillation of the Mind.
